While not particularly deadly to life, the Elemental Plane of Grime may be the most uncomfortable to visit. Travelers find their equipment becomes dirty as soon as they take their eyes off of it, and line of sight is very limited. Unless conjured by magic, all fires go out in a matter of minutes.
Extended visits to the plane can be harmful; visitors who spend more that 2-3 days here find breathing difficult. Creatures with lungs find them filled with phlegm and those with eyes find them becoming infected, often painfully so. Constructs, unless constantly cleaned, find their inner workings clogged with all manner of unpleasant debris ranging from mud to decaying insects.
