Fate Dice
At the start of each session, the DM and each player roll 1d6. On a 1-3, the DM gains a Fate Die. On a 4-6, the party gains a die.
Fate dice are d6s that can be used to modify various aspects of the game. When a player uses a Fate Die, it is added to the DM's pool. When a DM uses a Fate Die, it is added to the players' pool. If a player and the DM use Fate Dice on the same roll, both dice are removed until the start of the next session.
