The Plane of Crystal is very similar to the Plane of Earth in many regards. For the most part, it is a solid mass with rare pockets of other materials. Additionally, many of the inhabitants burrow through the mass of the plane, rater than making their homes in the open pockets.
The plane is home to massive chunks of gemstone and glass, with the largest spanning nearly a mile in diameter. Filling the gaps between these gems is a homogeneous mass of glass with strands sand running through it. These strands are the trails left by Thoqqua as they search for gems to eat.
