Ancorato is one of the many scattered islands that make up an island chain in the middle of Râthomo Mâpi; being the largest of a relatively unknown region, the chain as a whole is also called by the name Ancoroto as well. It recently became the home of the Andoren colony of Talmandor's Bounty.
History
Ancorato was charted in early 4710 UR by Andoren explorers searching for new lands to colonize approximately 300 miles south of the old Sun Temple Colony. Captain Ancorato named the island after himself.
It was settled in 4713 UR by a consortium of private interests and the government of Andoran.
