The '''Astral Sea''' is the metaphysical space between the planes of existence. While attempts to travel to other planes of existence provide consistent results if performed identically, travel to locations outside of a plane invariably result in seemingly random positions in the Astral Sea.

The Astral Sea itself is incredibly chaotic, with no known consistent locations. While creatures occasionally make their way to the sea, there are incredibly few creatures actually native to the Sea. The physical appearance of the Sea is that of intermittent chunks of what seems to be small chunks of other planes.
